I have today stood in a queue for 25 minutes in our Post Office in town.
While I must praise the staff at this section for their help and patience, it is appaling that a town as busy as Basingstoke has such a disgraceful Post Office.
It was ridiculous that a lovely Post Office at the Top of Town was beautifully renovated and then shortly afterwards was closed down.
It was a pleasure to visit there. No long queues, plenty of seats whilst you did wait and plenty of pleasant and efficient staff.
Basingstoke needs a decent Post Office not the use of half a shop!
