RESIDENTS are being encouraged to step into a new era of celebrity encounters at StarFest.

The festival will be held as part of CarFest South At Laverstoke Park Farm, near Overton, over the weekend of August 25 to 27, offering entertainment, games and activities for visitors of all ages.

The StarFest Stage will welcome a constellation of the country’s most celebrated names from the worlds of TV, film, music, sport and comedy.

Guests can witness the likes of Anton Du Beke, Ben Miller, Joel Dommett, Lee Mack, Eddie Izzard, Rob Brydon Russell Brand, and Richard Hammond taking to the stage.

From hilarious and heart-rending anecdotes to unveiling the inside scoop, these iconic personalities are sure to captivate visitors across the weekend. 

The Authors’ Stage, hosted by Rachel Horne & Bryony Gordon, will showcase literary brilliance and offer a platform for authors to share their works. This year's lineup boasts an impressive array of authors. Carrie and David Grant will take to the stage delving into the challenges and discoveries taken from their latest book, A Very Modern Family. Esteemed British ESA astronaut Tim Peake will captivate audiences with previously unheard tales from the final frontier. And none other than Craig David will be discussing his book What's Your Vibe?

A brand new addition to 2023, The Showcase Stage will shine the spotlight on emerging artists across the performing arts. Electrified by bp pulse, festival-goers can unlock their inner star with a host of dance and theatre sessions and get involved with energetic performances by the industry’s talent, such as Funkin’ Souled Out, Bloco Fogo, Knickerbocker Glory, Shrewton Silver Band and Studio S. Making a comeback this year will be Outta Puff Daddys and their inspirational message behind the power of dance.

Residents can also explore the latest trends at the vibrant Lifestyle Plaza, where guests can take a gander through a curated selection of beauty, fashion and lifestyle products.

For a hands-on experience, the Music Workshop offers the Instrument Petting Zoo, where budding rockstars can unleash their inner talent. Visitors can take a trip to the Stage Door Bar, a haven dedicated to the stars of Broadway and The West End.
