I hope you could help me.
I am bringing my 80-year-old mother to the UK from Australia where we have lived for over 50 years.
Widowed last year I am taking her to see family and relive her childhood while ticking bucket list items.
She was born 18th July 1943 in a manor house in Basingstoke where her pregnant mother Lilian Russell had been evacuated from London to.
She doesn’t know the name of the country home only that it was Basingstoke and used as a maternity hospital.
Can any of your readers please help me locate the manor, so I can take her to see it?
Please email me Dawn.Blundell@education.wa.edu.au or call +61414723582
