A BASINGSTOKE rugby club is hosting a carnival-style party to celebrate its 75th anniversary with the community.
Basingstoke Rugby Club are inviting the public to join the group for their ‘Party on the Pitch’ at Pack Lane on August 12.
The event will be held from 12pm to 8pm.
It is a free event and is for all the family to enjoy.

There will be a mini one-day tournament of touch rugby, food from Global Kitchen Catering and Events, music by DJ Leroy Wilson, family fun and games and a fully stocked bar.
A spokesperson said the club, like the NHS, is a “venerated institution, staffed by hard-working people, sometimes struggling for cash, but always committed to doing good for the community.”
