I would like to suggest the Basingstoke Gazette does a feature on the amount of manned checkouts that are being reduced, especially in Asda.
They have not taken into consideration the sight and hearing impaired or this who have physical or learning difficulties.
Not to mention some elderly people who struggle with technology and find the self-checkouts a struggle.
If we are being forced to use self-checkout and staff are being reduced then where is the reduction in prices?
Unfortunately it is a sign of the times - greed before people.
