More than 1,200 crimes were reported to police in Basingstoke and Deane in April 2023. How many of these crimes were in your neighbourhood?

The data from police.uk shows that 1,205 crimes were reportedly committed in Basingstoke and Deane during April, a slight increase from 1,198 in March.

The most common category was violence and sexual offences, with 488 offences reported as taking place during the month, down from 505 a month earlier.

Anti-social behaviour offences were the second-most common category, with 131 offences reported. This was followed by 118 public order offences.
