PEOPLE from across Basingstoke came together to celebrate their achievements at the A Place to be Proud of Awards 2023.
Guests put on their smart outfits as they headed to The Haymarket for the awards evening on Thursday, June 8.
The awards, organised by Destination Basingstoke, had Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council as its headline sponsor for this year’s 20th-anniversary milestone event.
Also supported by Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Basingstoke Voluntary Action, the event celebrates the outstanding achievements of individuals, groups and organisations that make Basingstoke and Deane a great place to live, work and visit.
Festival Place former centre director Bernard Ferris and previous award winner David Holby-Wolinski were the comperes for the event.
