A POPULAR Whitchurch pub has gone up for let after the current landlords say "it is time to hand over the pub to someone new".
The Kings Arms has been run by Rob and Laura for the past five years, but now they have decided it is time for a new chapter.
In a post on Facebook, the landlords said: "Just a quick message to all of you. As a lot of you would have seen The Kings is up for let. We have decided after 5 years here that. We are here until the end of August and will be smashing out the summer as always. Thank you all for your support over the past 5 years and we wish whoever follows us here the best of success."

The announcement has been met with sadness from regulars who have enjoyed quizzes, music and special events at the pub over the years.
A 'to let' sign has been put up on the pub, which is owned by Red Oak Taverns Limited.
The Kings Arms were contacted for more information.
