A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "A woman reported she had been driving with her friend at about 3pm on May 15 on Upper Hale Road in Farnham when she came to a stop at some traffic lights at the junction with A325.

"She said the car in front of her, a blue estate of unknown make and model, had a baby donkey in the back. The blue estate turned right at the traffic lights towards Farnham. CCTV enquiries have been carried out in the area and we would now like the public's help in locating this vehicle and identifying the make and model.

Elizabeth Miller, who owns Miller's Ark, said the farm has been "really touched by all the support shown to us" since Moon was stolen.

This includes the offer by a private donor of £10,000 for Moon's safe return, and a Go Fund Me launched to raise funds for surveillance cameras to prevent any other animals from being taken.

Elizabeth said: "We are so grateful for your kindness and support. As is our wonderful Astra who is missing her foal Moon."
