THERE has been no change to Hart District Council with every seat held by the party already defending won it at this year's elections.

One seat in each of the district's 11 wards was up for grabs on Thursday, May 4.

The Lib Dems held all four seats, whilst their coalition partner Community Campaign Hart held on to their four seats.

The Conservative Party held two seats, and the final seat was successfully held by independent councillor Dermot Smith.

The 33-seat council is still made up of 11 Lib Dems, 11 Conservatives, 10 Community Campaign Hart members and one independent.

It also means that no party holds a majority, with an expectation that power will again be shared between a coalition of Liberal Democrats and Community Campaign Hart councillors.

The Conservative party held its seat in Hartley Wintney, Hook and Odiham.
