THE mayor of Basingstoke and Deane has officially launched five new show homes in Basingstoke.

Cllr Paul Miller officially launched the show homes at a VIP event Bloor Homes on the Green and Bloor Homes on the 18th developments.

The five showhomes – a mix of three and four-bedroom homes - and two sales centres are now officially open to the public.

The new homes at the developments are designed across a mix of traditional and modern elevations to suit different preferences.

Of the 108-acre site close to the M3 and Basingstoke town centre, 42 per cent will remain as dedicated open green space for residents to use, including a woodland walk.

Bloor Homes has also proposed allotments, kick-about areas, play areas and sports pitches for residents.

Lucy Reynolds, sales director for Bloor Homes’ Southern region, said: “The event was fantastic – we were really happy to welcome so many people who had already registered for more information on our database so they could see the high quality and style of our lovely new homes for themselves. A huge thank you to Mayor Miller for his support as we bring this exciting new community to life.”

Sandra Dixon, sales director for Bloor Homes’ South West added: “Our range of two, three and four-bedroom homes will suit every house hunter, from first-time buyers to growing families - and even those looking to downsize. Settings like this are so close to Basingstoke and yet with so much green space and mature planting don’t come along very often and we are expecting a lot of interest. Now the show homes are officially open, we look forward to showcasing everything we have to offer.”
