A LUXURIOUS country house hotel in Hook will be celebrating the King's Coronation this May with a weekend of "quintessentially British experiences".

Heckfield Place, a Georgian family home in Hook, will be transformed into a hub of activities, including wild water swimming, al fresco picnics, flower crown making, and a Coronation cocktail masterclass.

The festivities will commence on Friday afternoon with a biodynamic walk and talk throughout the grounds led by Jane Scotter, who is a head grower at home farm.

Guests will have the opportunity to learn about biodynamic farming, a step beyond organic, and long championed by King Charles III.

In the late afternoon, a pop-up bar will be set up down by the lake, providing guests with the perfect opportunity to toast the Coronation celebrations in the great outdoors.

On Sunday morning, guests are invited to take a dip in the Lower Lake before indulging in a picnic hamper curated by executive chef Michael Chapman.

Priced from £45 for two people, the hamper will feature fresh vegetables from Heckfield Home Farm, house-made dips, a selection of Charcuterie, Farm Butter, a freshly baked sourdough baguette, a selection of Heckfield cheeses and cheese straws, Home Farm strawberries, and a choice of house-made Ginger Beer or seasonal cordial.
