A strong second-half performance from Tiverton Town helped them defeat a relegated Hartley Wintey and return to Devon with three points.

Hartley had a slight edge in the early play and went ahead on 21 minutes. A slick move down the left ended with a cross which was chased by Archy Taylor.

However before the Row full back could get possession he was hauled down by Tivvy defender Craig Woodman and a penalty was awarded.

Harry Cooksley converted the spot kick. (1-0)

It was Tivvy who dominated the second period.

After some early pressure the Devon side pulled level on 52 minutes.

A throw in on the left from Dylan Jones was cleared back out to him. The striker moved the ball into the centre of the pitch before shooting from 25 yards. The low shot went through the Row defence and found the corner of the net with Brzozowski possibly unsighted. (1-1)

Tiverton applied further pressure and went ahead on 68 minutes. A free kick on the right was delivered into the Hartley area by Salmon and it was Jamie Richards who shot home from close range (1-2).

Hartley made a number of attack minded substitutions but virtually all the chances fell for Tiverton.

In the final moments, the Row forced a corner but it was not to be and the final home league of the season ended in a defeat.
