A ROAD closure is causing traffic chaos in Basingstoke with approximately hour-long delays and bus service cancellations.
There are approximately 60-minute delays eastbound on Pack Lane between Fox Lane/Oakley Lane and Buckskin Lane/Kempshott Lane due to the B3400 Worting Road closure, according to traffic updates.
B3400 Worting Road is closed in both directions between The Fox Inn and St Thomas of Canterbury church due to construction works.
Vehicles are being diverted via Pack Lane and Buckskin Lane.

Unfortunately, the diversions have resulted in severe traffic with Stagecoach confirming their service 1, 3, 8, and 11 are affected.
Stagecoach said the diversions and delays might lead to some service cancellations.
