A COFFEE shop in Basingstoke has closed its doors.
Caffe Nero, based at Festival Place, 1 Mayfair House, closed on April 12.
The outlet, based near Wote Street, has closed due to circumstances 'beyond Caffe Nero's control'.
A sign outside the store said: "Sadly after many happy years here this Caffe Nero has had to close due to circumstances beyond our control.

"We have loved being here and would like to thank you for being a wonderful customer. It has always been a privilege to serve you."
The nearest Caffe Nero is still in Festival Place, with another cafe based above book store Waterstones.
Caffe Nero has been contacted for a comment but it has yet to respond.
