READERS have shared photos of their beloved pets in celebration of National Pet Day.
The occasion, which takes place annually on April 12, was marked by our readers who shared their photos of their beautiful furry (and scaley) friends on Facebook.
We received hundreds of photos and had to narrow our selection down to just 20, which you can view in the gallery above.
