A MAN holding a baseball bat stole alcohol, tobacco and cigarettes from a Tesco store in Basingstoke.
The incident happened at the Express store on Oakridge Road on Sunday, April 9.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "We’re investigating a report of an aggravated burglary at the Tesco Express store in Oakridge Road.

"Between 12.15pm and 12.30pm on Sunday 9 April, a man holding a baseball bat entered the store, before accessing an area behind the tills and stealing alcohol, tobacco and cigarettes. Enquiries are ongoing."
