A BASINGSTOKE woman was ordered to pay £500 for travelling on a train without a valid ticket.
Akanksha Sharma, 32, of Churchill Way in Basingstoke, was fined by Portsmouth Magistrate's Court on Thursday, March 16.
The court found that she travelled on a train without a valid ticket on August 19, 2022.
She was ordered to pay a fine of £220, compensation of £15.80, victim surcharge of £88, and court costs of £160.
She has to pay a total of £483.80 before April 13.
