AN 'UPMARKET' patisserie from London has opened a kiosk in Festival Place.

La Vo Patisserie opened in Royal Park in London in 2022 and has now brought its imaginative and delicious sweet treats to the Basingstoke shopping centre as a six-month pop-up.

However, the owners said they may stay for longer if they decide to renew the contract at the end of six months.

Offering celebration cakes, signature cakes, elegant macarons, cupcakes, slices and cheesecakes, La Vo makes everything from scratch using the finest ingredients.Basingstoke Gazette:

Beautiful cakes include Black Forest, tiramisu, red velvet, Ferrero crunch, strawberry vanilla, and Oreo – and for those who don’t fancy sharing, many are also available as slices for the perfect one-person treat.

Macarons are flavoured with raspberry, pistachio, lemon, blueberry, chocolate, strawberry and vanilla, and dessert fans will love the rich and creamy chocolate and strawberry cheesecakes.

La Vo is the latest food retailer to join Festival Place in the last 12 months following iconic craft beer pub chain BrewDog, the Spanish Tapas Revolution, and African restaurant Afrizi, which were all among the new signings in 2022.Basingstoke Gazette:

Centre director Neil Churchill said: “Visitors to Festival Place can enjoy more choice than ever, with our fantastic offering of foods from across the globe.

“The fact that we are continually adding vibrant and exciting restaurants and food outlets to our already impressive list shows these brands are keen to be a part of what we are delivering to our customers.”
