In celebration of World Book Day, children across the town dressed up as their favourite fictional characters, and, in one case, the Oxford English Dictionary.

World Book Day is an annual event which celebrates books and reading and has inspired generations of children to read for over 25 years, as part of the event children across the country are encouraged to dress up as their favourite characters from their favourite literature.
