A DIGITAL marketing agency is encouraging their Hampshire clients to register defibrillators in order to save lives.

MRS Digital in Church Crookham has teamed up with Aero Healthcare to promote The Circuit.

It said there are more than 30,000 cardiac arrests out of hospital every year in the UK, with fewer than one in 10 people surviving.

It is estimated by the British Heart Foundation that there are tens of thousands of defibrillators not yet registered, meaning the NHS cannot access them, making The Circuit a vital service to the NHS.

The Circuit is the national defibrillator network, which provides the NHS ambulance services with the whereabouts of nearby defibrillators so that they can be accessed as quickly as possible, increasing the chances of survival.

Adam Blackford-Mills, marketing director at MRS Digital, said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Aero Healthcare to deliver such an important message. Utilising our pool of clients alongside Aero Healthcare’s expertise allows us to communicate this message, and hopefully put 80 defibrillators on the NHS’s radar. It’s such a simple yet overlooked step which can save lives.”

MRS Digital, which has an extensive network across the south of England, is promoting the cause after learning just how many of their clients own defibrillators that aren’t registered.
