AN EXPERIENCED vocal coach and former primary school teacher who runs singing and drama lessons is proud of her latest students' exam results, after only starting her business last year.
As previously reported, young people in North Hampshire have been able to take centre stage when experienced vocal coach and former primary school teacher, Jackie Harrison, brought award-winning Little Voices singing and drama lessons to Basingstoke.
Little Voices is a national performing arts school that helps boost children’s confidence and social skills, as well as their performing abilities.
Jackie has lived in Hook for many years and was a former teacher at Old Basing Infants school and St Bedes in Popley.
She said previously that the singing lessons are about much more than “helping children” who “dream of a life” on centre stage.

Since then Jackie has set up after-school clubs at Hook Infant School and Buryfields in Odiham as well as running a public centre at Elizabeth Hall in Hook.
Pupils at Little Voices are also given the opportunity to take LAMDA exams. The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art is a drama school that has been around since the 1800s. You can study there, but the school also runs an accredited examination programme.
Little Voices North Hampshire is very proud to announce that all 27 pupils who took their very first LAMDA exams passed with merits and distinctions. This is a huge achievement and has certainly boosted the confidence of many of the pupils, some of who are only four-years-old.
Jackie said a special mention "must go to the teenagers who were awarded 100 per cent" for their scene from the hit musical Mamma Mia.
She said: "They were all nervous but gave an outstanding performance on the day and can't wait to prepare for their next exam.
