A BASINGSTOKE solicitors has announced that one of its employees has been shortlisted for a prestigious legal award. 

Associate and solicitor advocate La-Toyah Mckensize who works for Lamb Brooks, in the family law team, has been selected among other inspirational young lawyers, for the Rising Star of the Year at the Modern Law Awards.

An awards ceremony will take place in March 2023 in London.

At just 29-years-old La-Toyah has already chalked up a number of academic achievements alongside handling several high-profile, sensitive and complex legal cases.

She has also dedicated her time outside of work to helping other young female solicitors by putting in place support groups and running a number of networking events and referral groups.

La-Toyah quickly made her mark at Lamb Brooks, being promoted to an associate and qualifying as a solicitor advocate in 2022. The partners at Lamb Brook are incredibly proud of La-Toyah and wish her all the best for the award ceremony.
