A BOUNTY squash club in Basingstoke are hosting an open day to invite new members.

Bounty Squash and Racketball at Basingstoke Sports and Social Club on Fairfields Road are hosting the open day on Saturday, February 18.

It will run from 10am to 4pm with junior squash (10am-12pm), accessible squash and racketball session (1-2pm), beginners squash and racketball session for women (2-3pm), and open to all squash and racketball session (3-4pm).

All sessions are free with an England Level 2 coach present throughout the afternoon sessions.

Bounty Squash and Racketball is the biggest squash and racketball club in Basingstoke and the surrounding area with over 200 members with the aim of becoming the biggest club in North Hampshire.

The club offers a broad range of activities for all players from beginner to experienced county players. The club runs internal leagues, has four teams playing in the Berkshire Squash Leagues, including a team in the premier division, two Veterans teams in the Berkshire Vets Leagues, junior sessions, weekly squash and racketball club nights and has an annual club championship. This is all underpinned by a friendly and active social club.

The club also has a level 2 coach who runs weekly private coaching sessions. A coaching clinic is running on Tuesday, February 21, with 30-minute trial lessons running 4pm to 8pm for £10 a lesson. Lessons can be booked at facebook.com/anmsquashcoaching/

Squash stars, England Squash junior six-week programme will be running at the club from February 25. More information can be found at squashstars.co.uk. A junior after-school squash club will also be starting in March.
