SIX MEN were arrested in suspicion of supplying class A drugs after police officers stopped a vehicle that crashed into three cars in Basingstoke. 

At about 12.33pm on January 15, police officers tried to stop a grey Jaguar e-pace, on Ringway South heading towards Black Dam roundabout.

The driver of the Jaguar failed to stop and collided with three cars sat in a queue of traffic, with minor injuries being reported.

Six men, who were all from London, left the Jaguar and were arrested after a short pursuit, including: 

A 21-year-old, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, theft of a motor vehicle and failing to stop. 

A 20-year-old was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, failing to stop and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Two 19-year-olds and another 20-year-old was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, theft of a motor vehicle and failing to stop. 

Finally, a 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, theft of a motor vehicle, failing to stop and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence. 

All six males have been released on police bail until April 15.

Fire services also attended the accident and have been contacted for more information.

Firefighters were also called just before 1.15pm to the traffic collision, where they extricated one person from a vehicle and handed them into the care of paramedics.
