THE BASINGSTOKE Half Marathon and 10k races in 2023 are now open for entries.
Runners are being encouraged to sign up early and start practising for the races early.
Both runs, which are organised by Destination Basingstoke, will take place on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
It is £35 for the 'Zero Waste Runner' category in the half marathon in which participants will not get a medal or a race T-shirt.
It is £43 for any affiliated runners and £45 for unaffiliated runners.

Affiliated and unaffiliated runners for 10k races have to pay £28 and £30 respectively.
The course for the Basingstoke Half Marathon is a challenging one, incorporating some legendary hills near Cliddesden and Farleigh Wallop, beautiful countryside, and quaint villages.
Participants can take in fantastic views of some of Hampshire’s picturesque landscape and have a bird’s eye view of Basingstoke.
Those who sign up will have 10 months to train for the challenge.
