Republic of Chineham stretched their winning run to seven games after a 1-2 away win at City of Southampton Division 2 side Hamble Spitfires in the Hampshire Sunday Trophy, writes Tony Spencer.

Considering that Hamble Spitfires were unbeaten until Sunday, this was a superb result.  

Eastrop Eagles won their fifth game in a row, beating Andover Division 2 leaders Pharmasol, 3-1.

North Warnborough The Anchor beat Farnham Spitfires 5-1, ending the visitors’ run of four wins. Andy Parker put two goals away, Sam Breau, Nathan Twist and Daniel Willis one apiece.

Republic of Chineham Reserves lost heavily, 0-6 to Aldershot & Camberley side Rushmoor Community.

Basingstoke Casuals’ 6-0 home win over Soldiers Return was a Division 3 league double and are unbeaten in three games. Goals from Cameron Feeney with two, Harley Bateman, Jody Chapman, Blaze Stafford and Sam Waters. 

Sherborne St John suffered their first league defeat in a 4-5 victory for struggling Cranbourne Rangers who chalked up their first league win. Sam Barlow with a brace, James Galpin, Jake Nice and Finlay White scored for the visitors and James Barrington with two goals, Freddie Eastman and sub Adam Jones scored for the hosts.

Stratton Park Rangers scored their first league goals through Charlie May and Nathan Miller in a 2-18 defeat to The Oak FC.

Hampshire Royals were awarded home points against Wellington.

Division 4 leaders AFC Berg defeated Basingstoke Boars 6-1
