A MAN is challenging an enforcement notice by the borough council to use land in Tadley to store caravans.
An inquiry is set to take place on December 6 after Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council issued an enforcement notice to David Snook for land south of Berry Court Farm on Bramley Road.
The notice alleges that Mr Snook changed the use of land from agricultural use to the use for the storage of caravans and motorhomes and associated operational development to facilitate the change of use

It is also said that he created an earth bund (with fence atop) as one continuous feature, a track together with gates and fences, a hardstanding area and the creation of an access through existing hedgerow together with gates.
The hearing also relates to the lawful development certificate application for the formation of earth bunds as a means of enclosure around adjacent parcels of land - a caravan and motorhome storage site, and a pony paddock
The inquiry will be held from Tuesday, December 6 at the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council offices.
Three days have been allowed, although the inquiry is not expected to last that long.
