Dear Editor,
I would like to say thank you to all the staff of the Cafe Dome at Brighton Hill Parade Basingstoke, for their warm welcome, excellent service and amazing selection of delicious food at reasonable prices, when a party of six members of Tadley and District U3A Bus Pass Users Group enjoyed a visit on Friday last week.
We travelled by the number 2 bus from Tadley to the railway station stop x Alencon Link to connect with the number 1 Brighton Hill bus to Sullivan Road Surgery stop. From there the Cafe Dome is just a three-minute walk across the road.
The Cafe Project is a local charity set up to help and support young adults with learning difficulties. They take part in a training programme to gain experience in both hospitality and catering.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and plan to return with the other members of the U3A Bus Pass Users Group.
Mrs W.J Capel
Bus pass Group Leader
