DATES have been announced and ticket sales started for a popular festival taking place in Hampshire next summer.

CarFest South – created by broadcaster Chris Evans and hosted at the Laverstoke Park Farm – will return next year on August 25-27, it has been revealed.

CarFest will be entering its 12th year next August as organisers have promised it will be bigger and better than ever.

The event will be presented by Cinch.

For 2023, CarFest is revving up for one huge party, with enough activities and attractions to keep the whole family entertained - from live music, adventure and comedy to classic cars, famous faces and cookery demonstrations.  

Like CarFest 2022, next year's event will again host seven festivals in one: StarFest, FoodFest, SpaFest, RetroFest, KidsFest, AdventureFest, CarFest. 

The line-up for the next edition includes The Feeling, Village People, BoyzLife, Rick Parfitt Jnr, Texas, The Bootleg Beatles and The Dolly Parton Experience – with more names to be announced in the coming months.

There will also be speakers including Russell Brand, Jimmy Carr, Ben Miller and Rob Brydon.

This year's CarFest, held in August, was a huge success with thousands of people descending onto the usually quiet fields of Laverstoke Park Farm.

CarFest was created by Evans in 2012 with the purpose of raising funds for UK Children’s charities.

Since its conception, the festival has raised millions for its partner charities. In 2023, CarFest will raise funds for BBC Children in Need, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, My Black Dog, Rainbow Trust, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust, Young Epilepsy and local Hampshire based charity Naomi House & Jack’s Place.
