BASINGSTOKE motorists will have three National Highway road closures to watch out for this week.
And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M3, from 8pm October 3 to 6am November 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 6 to 5, Lane closures for grounds surveys.
And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:
• A34, from 8pm November 14, 2022, to 6am January 28, 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Whitchurch, Narrow lanes and 50mph speed limit in place for barrier upgrades.

• A303, from 8pm November 1, 2022 to 6am January 28, 2023, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 northbound, Bullington to Litchfield, carriageway closure for barrier upgrades, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
