A MAN from Hampshire who smeared dog faeces on a property has been handed a fine.

William Dunt, of Chalet Court, Bordon, smeared dog faeces on a property in Basingstoke intending to destroy or damage the property on September 3 of this year.

The 81-year-old pleaded guilty during a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court. Magistrates fined him £140 as well as ordering him to pay compensation costs of £100, court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of £56.

Magistrates also put a restraining order in place, forbidding Dunt from contacting the owner of the property.

A WOMAN has had her driving licence endorsed with penalty points after driving without due care and attention.

Danielle Webster, of Vidlers Farm in Sherborne St John, drove a Nissan Qashqai on Longwood Dean Lane in Owslebury without due care and attention on April 4.

The 31-year-old was found guilty in her absence during a hearing at Aldershot Magistrates' Court.

Magistrates endorsed Webster's licence with five penalty points and handed her a fine of £440.

She was also ordered to pay court costs of £110 and a surcharge fee of £44.

A MAN has been sent to prison after committing several assault offences in Hampshire.

Joshua Bone, of Brooklands Cottage in Guildford, without lawful excuse, damaged the cage of a marked police vehicle and the police holding cell in Basingstoke on September 14. On the same date, he also assaulted police officer Charlotte Warhurst in Basingstoke.

The 39-year-old carried out a number of other offences in Farnborough. On September 14 in Farmborough Bone assaulted three people including a police officer. On the same date, he caused another person harassment, alarm or distress.

He also stole six bottles of wine and two blocks of cheese from a Tesco store in Hampshire.

He pleaded guilty to all offences. During a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court, he was handed a 12-week custodial sentence.

A BASINGSTOKE resident has been fined hundreds after driving a vehicle while disqualified.

On August 1, Selma Dos Santos, of Dryden Close, drove a motor vehicle on The Avenue while disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence.

The 58-year-old pleaded guilty. During a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court, Santos was ordered to pay a fine of £186 and disqualified for 190 days.

Magistrates also ordered Santos to pay costs of £40 and a surcharge see of £74. 

A DRUNK driver from Basingstoke has been banned from getting behind the wheel.

Alexander Vallecillo, of Tintern Close, was caught driving a motor vehicle on Penrith Road in Basingstoke while over the limit on October 8.

The 19-year-old was found to have 75 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35.

Vallecillo pleaded guilty and during a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court, he was disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Magistrates also fined him £288 and ordered him to pay court costs of £85 and a surcharge of £115.
