OFFICERS investigating a report of sexual assault are appealing for witnesses and information.

The incident happened in Aldershot in the early hours of Sunday, October 16.

According to police, a teenage girl was sexually assaulted by a man not known to her in Manor Park in Aldershot.

The girl also suffered minor injuries as she was pushed. Following the incident, she was able to run away from the man.

The suspect has been described as being Asian, aged between 25 and 40, around 5ft 9ins tall, with dark medium length hair. He was wearing dark clothing.

Officers have been carrying out enquiries after launching an investigation, and they are now appealing to the public for help.
