Although on the field AFC Tukkers beat Tidworth Town 4-2, the hosts played an ineligible player (breaking Basingstoke League cup rule 15), so the result was null and void and the tie was awarded to Tidworth Town.

Herriard Sports visited AFC Berg in the Bernard Cornish Cup, one week after suffering a home league defeat to the Division 4 leaders. This time the Herriard side got their revenge in inflicting the first defeat of the season on their hosts, in a 3-8 victory. Sam Weber got his hat-trick, Joe Cook and Chris Dobbie with braces and a Dave Purt single, while Ashley Elward with a pair and Louis Vickery's goal provided Berg’s resistance.

Tibor Bodor netted for AFC Popley but it wasn’t enough to prevent Sherborne St John from returning to winning ways with a 1-5 cup victory.

Division 4 Ambient held Division 2 AFC Aldermaston 2-2 at the interval and scored the only second-half goal to win 3-2, with goals from Tyler Andrews, Josh Dickens and sub Kieron Alleyne.

Sub Oliver Butler scored for Basingstoke Casuals in a 1-1 draw, but the home side lost 3-4 in the penalty shoot-out with Newchester.

Brookvale United made it four consecutive Division 4 league and cup wins after the latest win against Division 2 White Ash Rovers. Manager Steve Sinclair described their first-half performance as below par and Vale deservedly trailed 0-1 at the break after Billy Williams opened White Ash Rovers’ account. But the half-time team talk paid immediate dividends when Adam Aimable found top scorer Sam Trodd, who despatched expertly from the angle to draw level 1-1. Moments later it was Aimable heading over the keeper from another assist from keeper Brad Nicholson to take a 2-1 lead. Aimable turned provider again for the third as his long throw created a goalmouth mêlée and Dave Seal was on hand to prod the ball home just before the hour, 3-1. The scoring ended at that point but the onslaught from the visitors persisted but they just couldn’t find a way past the Brookvale back line. Last-ditch tackles from Adie Mosdell and Tom Perry denied certain goals and Nicholson made a point-blank save at the death to hold on. Connor Craig was dominant in the air and United advanced to the next round as worthy giant killers.

The first win for Cranbourne Rangers was a memorable one, scoring 22 goals and conceding one against AFC Ramsdell. Finlay White found the net twice, after 2 and 15 mins, Riley Ward racked up 4, after 17, 64, 79, and 80 mins, Cameron Holloway completed a brace in 21 and 27 mins, sub Colin Bird’s hat-trick came on 29, 57 and 68 mins, sub Ahmed Mohamed’s single on 34 mins, sub Joel Sadler’s 6-minute brace on 48 and 54 mins, Jack Nice beat him by a minute by netting on 53 and 58 mins, Zak Alexander’s pair on 66 and 82 mins, Alex Blackburn on 75 mins, with sub Daniel Macura closing the rout on 90 mins.
