THERE were heavy delays this morning on the M3 between Winnall and Popham due to an incident.
The incident was first reported by ROMANSE, who provides traffic information for Hampshire, who took to Twitter to inform residents about the incident.
They tweeted: "#M3 Northbound - one lane BLOCKED between J9/#A34 #Winnall and J8/#A303 #Popham due to an RTI, heavy delays already building."
They reported delays of 60 minutes but it is believed all lanes have now been cleared.

There are reports of a separate incident which has closed the southbound carriageway.
The M3 southbound remains closed following a serious collision between Andover and Winchester.
A full diversion route has been announced between J7 and J9 via the A30, A303 and A34.
