FIVE men have appeared in court in connection with the murder of a 31-year-old nearly three years ago. 

Frazer Brabant was found with serious head injuries in the rear garden of a residential property in Gershwin Road, Basingstoke, on October 31, 2019, and died in hospital on January 21, 2020, after nearly three months on life support.

On Tuesday, October 4 Hampshire Constabulary charged five men in connection with Mr Brabant’s murder.

Scott Neale, 34, from Spindle Close, Basingstoke; Lee Wood, 31, from Halsbury Road East, Northolt; and Forhad Miah, 31, from Chestnuts Close, Oakley, have been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit GBH with intent and violent disorder.

James O’Connor, 24, from Fairfield, Whitchurch, has been charged with murder.

Ricky Neale, 40, also known as Ricky Lewis, from Candover Court, Basingstoke, has been charged with conspiracy to commit GBH with intent and violent disorder.
