BASINGSTOKE motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• A303, from 8pm September 23 to 6am October 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 and M3 eastbound and westbound, junction 8, link road closures for structures works, diversion via, junction 9 and return via A34 to Bullington.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M3, from 8pm October 3 to 6am October 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 6 to 5, Lane closures for grounds surveys.
• A303, from 8pm October 6 to 6am October 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound and southbound, Tothill services to Bullington Cross to A303 eastbound and westbound to A30 Popham, diversion route for Hampshire County Council works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
