REPORTS of violence and sexual offences were the highest reported in July, according to the latest police data. 

Figures from data.police.uk show there were a total of 17,890 crimes reported across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. 

Violence and sexual offences was the most reported crime with 7,141 reports in July. 

This was followed by anti-social behaviour which was reported 2,685 times in the same month. 

Across both areas the third highest crime was public order which received 2,164 reports.

Vehicle crime (804), shoplifting (759) and burglary (679) all received similiar rates of reports throughout July. 

The lowest reported crimes were posessions of weapons (180), robbery (105) and theft from a person (98).
