A DRIVER who collided with a cyclist knocking them to the ground failed to stop at the scene near Chineham.

The incident happened at around 8.15am on Wednesday, September 21. A white car and a cyclist on Cufaude Lane, near Upper Cufaude Farm collided.

The cyclist fell to the ground and the white car, which has been described as being a small Fiat or Ford, did not stop at the scene.

A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "We are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of a road traffic collision near Chineham.

"Officers have launched an investigation and are now turning to the public for help.

"Were you in the area at the time? Do you have any dash-cam footage or CCTV images that could help with our investigation?
