ON Good Friday, at the Church of Christ the King, Brighton Hill, there will be a solemn liturgy for the Catholic community at 3pm.

The Maidenthorne Singers will sing during the devotional service at All Saints, Dummer, at 1.30pm. The music will range from Bach to Casals.

IN Whitchurch, on Good Friday, at All Hallows, there will be a family service at 10.30am followed by a walk, picnic and the building of an Easter garden.

At 10.30am, there will be a united Methodist and Baptist service at the Methodist Church, at 2pm.

There will be a liturgy of the day at All Hallows and, at 6.30pm, words and music for Good Friday at the Methodist Church.

On Easter Sunday, there will be sung Communion at 8.45am, at St Mary's, Tufton, Liturgy of the Resurrection at All Hallows at 10am and evening prayer at 6pm, and a morning service at the Methodist Church at 10am.

AT the United Reformed Church, in London Street, Basingstoke, Easter Sunday begins with the Walk of Witness through the town, starting at 9am.

At 6.45am, there will be an Easter sunrise service in the War Memorial Park and, at the church, at 10.30am, an Easter celebration service with family Communion.

The Salvation Army will be holding Easter Day services at its church in Wessex Close, Basingstoke, at 11am and 6.30pm, led by Major Ron Smith.

AT St Mary's, Old Basing, on Good Friday, there will be children's Liturgy at 10am, silent prayer and reflection at noon, Stations of the Cross at 1pm, and a Good Friday sung Liturgy at 2pm.

On Easter Sunday, Holy Communion is at 8am, an all-age sung Eucharist of the Resurrection at 9.30am and evening prayer at 5.30pm.

AN item worth going to on Thursday, March 27, at St Paul's, Tadley, is a shared concert with the Basingstoke Ladies Choir and Taubacher Mannerchor, from Germany, starting at 7.30pm.
