A SOCIAL group for people aged over 55 is hosting a variety show to celebrate the International Day for Older People.
The event will be hosted by the Basingstoke and Deane Over 55’s Forum and will be held at Queen Mary’s College on Saturday, September 24.
The show will run from 2pm to 5pm, and feature performances from tribute band ABBA Chique and the Old Basing British Legion Corps of Drums.

Tickets for the performance can be purchased for £7.50 from Newbury Building Society in Festival Place, Shopmobility on Church Street and Oakridge Hall 4 All.
They can also be purchased by ringing Basingstoke and Deane Over 55’s Forum secretary and tour manager Gerald Merritt on 07792 535116.
The forum is also planning a day trip to the Guide Dogs for the Blind at Leamington Spa on September 19.
The event is open to the public, with tickets costing £31.50.
