A MAJOR road in Basingstoke has been identified as a high-risk road based on collision data, police have said.
Worting Road is a hotspot for several road traffic incidents and hence police are reportedly doing more checks on the stretch.
On Saturday, officers stopped a number of drivers who were committing a variety of offences.
According to Hampshire Road Policing Unit’s social media account, the offences ranged from speeding to no seatbelts.
Sergeant Chris from the unit tweeted: “What makes this worse is that all of those stopped drove by some flowers left at the scene of a recent fatal road traffic collision that my team dealt with!”
