A plant-based delicatessen opened in South Warnborough on Saturday, September 3.

Happy Vegan Deli, founded by Natalie Gladman, opened at Unit 4 Granary Court in Alton Road, South Warnborough.

Natalie said the deli has carefully chosen its stock from small artisan suppliers, offering a range of delicious goods from pies, pasties, olives, antipasti, gourmet cheese and salads.

In addition, it offers a charcuterie range produced and made by Michelin chefs, with plant-based, vegan-friendly Smokey Choreezo, Hickory Smoked Haam, Bresoala, Porquetta and vegan Foie Gras.

The Happy Vegan Deli also offers a selection of sauces, chutneys and condiments, balsamic vinegars and olive oils.

Natalie said: “We're really pleased to have the opportunity to open the Happy Vegan Deli next door to our existing plant-based, vegan-friendly zero waste shop, Naked Refills, and think that they're a match made in heaven.

“Our plant-based deli will provide quality, fresh plant-based products including a range of delicious fresh olives, vork pies, cashew based cheeses, pies, scotch eggs, salads, sliced charcuterie meats as well as fresh herbs, vegetables and baked goods.

“We've worked hard to source suppliers whose products represent great taste and value - many have won numerous Great Taste awards - and that are a little bit more interesting. We've also chosen suppliers that use little or no plastic - and the containers that we use in the deli for customers' goods are either recyclable, biodegradable, or compostable. As with Naked Refills next door - if you'd like us to fill one of your own containers, we're happy to do so.”
