AN INDIAN restaurant in Basingstoke has been named among the best in the country.
Spices and Spirits, in Kings Furlong Drive, was announced on Monday, August 22, as the Curry Restaurant of the Year – South East at the 11th English Curry Awards, which are a celebration of the top Asian curry professionals and businesses in the country.
The awards recognise the hard work, determination, impeccable service and efforts of England’s best curry establishment and professionals that create and serve delicious dishes at an excellent standard.
It comes after the restaurant also won a Good Food Award, following a record number of votes cast by readers, customers and fans.
Mrs Anushree Patil and Mr. Nitin Patil from Spices and Spirits said: “We are really proud that we have won another award from English Curry Awards. It just shows how much hard work the whole team puts in hence to get recognition is very much appreciated. We would like to Congratulate and thank the staff at Spices and Spirits for winning the English Curry Awards 2022. We are all absolutely over the moon to announce that we are the winners of the South East Region as best curry restaurant of the year.

The awards highlight the continued growth of the Asian curry sector and recognise the achievements of those who work their hardest to perfect every meal.
