MOST pharmacies will be closed this Bank Holiday Monday, but some stores will remain open – with reduced opening hours.

NHS England has published a list of pharmacies that will be open on Monday, August 29, 2022. It contains the names, addresses, and opening hours of every store.

Pharmacies are only listed if they have notified NHS England that they will be open.

Dr Derek Sandeman, Chief Medical Officer for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System, said: “Pharmacies, as well as being an invaluable High Street resource, offer expert advice about over-the-counter medicines to treat common health conditions, as well as information on medication and a range of other services.

“Pharmacists are also trained to advise you if you need to see a GP, nurse or other healthcare professional.

“We would ask people who may need to order repeat prescriptions to please submit them in good time, and not leave them to the last minute with the bank holiday approaching.”
