A Basingstoke company is under the spotlight as it continues to cement its place as one of the most rapidly growing stage lighting companies in the global live events industry.

TSL Lighting is a specialist event lighting and rigging company which serves the live event and production industry throughout the UK, Europe and beyond, from its technical facility in Chineham.

The company supplies equipment and services to a huge range of events, ranging from lighting the fan zone in Trafalgar Square to celebrate the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022, illuminating a Formula E racetrack in east London and dozens of catwalks for London Fashion Week.

Sam Tamplin, managing director, said: “The increased programming of events this year has meant that we are now as busy as we’ve ever been and we are thriving! We have extended floor space in our technical facility by an additional 17,000 sq ft and invested in more equipment to ensure we can keep up with the demand.

"We are so thankful to our clients who have been extremely loyal and we couldn’t be happier with the feedback we are getting from both regular and new customers.”

The increase in business has meant that TSL now has the opportunity to expand its workforce.

The company is looking for seven technicians and two drivers to join its Basingstoke facility team, with both full time and part time vacancies available.

“The UK has always had a strong tradition of creating technology for events, so it is so good to be back out there working on the global stage,” Sam added.
