A SPORTS therapy and rehabilitation centre has celebrated its move to a new location with an open weekend.
Optimal Sports Therapy Centre has moved premises and is now located at Hooper House on Hatchwarren Lane, after previously being located at Many Down Farm.
The sports therapy and rehabilitation centre celebrated the move by holding an open weekend where members of the public could visit the new premises, meet the team and enjoy a glass of bubbles.
Therapy centre director Seb Challen said that the open weekend went “really well".

He continued: “We had a good turnout.
“Lots of people turned up and we got some new clients from that.
“And a lot of our current clients came and visited the new facilities, had some Prosecco and it was a good weekend.”
The move comes as the centre celebrates 13 years since it first opened its doors in 2009.
Seb said: “Thank you for all of our clients who have come over the years.
“Without all their support, this move wouldn’t have been possible.
“I hope they are excited to come to the premises and enjoy the new services that we can now offer!”
Seb also wanted to thank the members of his team, sports therapists Erin Macdonald and Jamie Venning, and strength and conditioning coach Chris Smith.
He continued: “We’ll be working as hard as possible as a team to provide the best service as possible for our clients and new members.”
The larger size of Optimal’s new premises means that the centre can offer more services.
Seb’s wife, Bridget Johnson-Challen, explained: “In the last premises we were just working out of one room.

“Whereas now we have two treatment rooms and a rehab gym as well, so there’s more space for the team members to work together.
“We have three sports therapists and one strength and conditioning coach, so there’s a lot more we can now offer for new clients.”
Optimal offers a range of treatments, including deep tissue massages, cupping treatments and fitness testing, alongside personalised training and classes.
Seb said that those interested in using the services provided by the centre are welcome to visit Optimal for a tour.
He also stated that Optimal is aiming to help as many local athletes and sports teams with their injuries as possible.
