ALDERMASTON Rugby booked their place in the Cyril Thompson Trophy final, with a thrilling three run win over Oakley.
The rugby boys batted first and scored 123-7 as Mandeep Sharma led the way with 38 well supported by Callum Coombs 24. Josh Carpenter 1-22 and Dan Sumner 1-24 produced the best bowling.

In reply Oakley made 120-6 as Dan Jones 38 and Carpenter 33 excelled with the bat.
Yam Thapa 2-36 and Jai Ahuji 2-14 were the pick of the bowlers.
Aldermaston Rugby will face either East Woodhay or Stratfield Turgis and Hartley Westpall in the final at May’s Bounty on Monday August 29, which starts at 11am.
