FIREFIGHTERS tackled a caravan blaze in the early hours of Monday morning (July 25).

Tadley and Basingstoke crews were called to a static caravan destroyed in a fire on O’Bee Gardens in Baughurst at 12.33am.

One man was led to safety prior to the arrival of firefighters.

A number of cylinders were removed from a shed which was also involved in the blaze.

The fire was stopped by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus sets and using jets and hose reels.

Crews undertook a number of community safety visits to neighbouring properties after damping down the scene.

Firefighters returned to their stations following the stop message at 2.41am.
