A VAN hire service based in Basingstoke has relocated to a new site in an effort to serve more people.

Herd Hire, led by Paula Johnson, has moved to Access Storage facility in Rankine Road.

Paula said the new site is a “bigger and better” location in the town.

She added that Herd Hire van rental will be helping more people of Basingstoke reconsider what they think about van hire, with their “first class rental service”.

Paula said: “I’m delighted with the new premises and the opportunities it will bring. We’ll be able to offer our services to more customers with an increased fleet for of brand new clean vans, Herd Approved used vehicle sales and Camper Tribe hires, so I’m really excited to see what the future holds.”

She continued: “Access Storage has previously been home to local van hire businesses, Bob Douglas and 4 Rent for many years, so taking over this location was a no brainer for Herd Basingstoke as we continue to expand and provide more local job opportunities.

“Over the last few years, the team at Herd Basingstoke has gained a fantastic reputation, providing a high level of Herd all important customer care, with a large fleet of fun ‘Vanimal’ themed vehicles that stand out from bland alternatives.”
